A Love Like No Other

How many of us really believe in true love? How many of us know when its knocking at our door, recognize the immense sensation of total and utter surrender to it? How many of us are willing to settle for something less than what we would really see in our lives for the sake of being alone? I am proud to say that I am not one of these floating beings who lives their lives in this manner of speaking to settle, EVER!!!

When you see love in others it makes us shiver, like when you see an old couple walking down the road, hand in hand, silent but you can hear their love through the breeze as it cuts past your face. Or the innocent love of two young beings who simply cannot take their eyes of eachother, the first love of your life, the one that makes your heart beat so hard, so intensely that you think it might come right out of your chest. And then there is the love of a mother, a father a child... this love is like no other as it is a connection which is true surrender, an unconditional love for someone that you will always put before yourself, you will always worry about, you will never ever stop loving and you will have this connection far into your life, spiritual life and whatever is out there waiting for us all.

How can people not want this love that I explain? Because the simple fact is that we have all been at one point in our life - damaged goods! Each of us has taken less than we deserve, each of us has put up with things for the sake of the good things; which are not even a good balance for us in the first place. We are all initially so open, so loving, so kind... from a child we have no inhibitions and see the world with such innocence until the 'hurt' takes us over, the pain continues into the years and finally we decide to build, build and build the biggest brick wall in man kind to protect ourselves. We may not even know that we are doing it, but believe you me we are all specialists in this field. You might be the person to throw yourself out there and sleep with whoever you come across, you might be the person to make up every excuse in the book that the person who is trying to give you love isn't right for you, you might be the person who can't image being in a relationship because you have really never ever had a proper one of unity!!! We are all these people and so much more, so many of us looking for that one love who will fulfill us and allow us to flourish through life with ease. I've seen this love in many places and I feel very blessed to have been a part of it through family, friends, even strangers, but for this love I have never truly had myself.

A glimmer of this kind of love can be painful as it seems almost too good to be true, so that you may turn your back and run the other way, but don't run... the only running you should be doing is into this persons' arms. We have all been through pain, grown in ways that we sometimes cannot believe ourselves but the pride we have after the storm has passed will protect us and open our eyes when that love truly does come a knocking.

Be true to who you really are, be open to accept love again, allow yourself to fall, let yourself go and let someone in to your world. We are meant to be with one other in this life, we are meant to be with a partner who makes us feel like no other, the one that brings in the awful fear of loosing them for that fear is the one that is you not imaging your life without them. Imagine that immense feeling and let it in and then imagine not ever having that feeling because you were too scared to allow it in for fear of letting in that pain!? I myself know that this pain will be the best, most amazing pain as it is one of true love that will break you down in ways you never thought imaginable. I wait for this, I will let this in, I will allow love to my door once again and enjoy everything that this brings for at least I will know i am alive with feeling, emotion and most of all love!

Please wait and have faith in a love like no other... it is one which will transform your world to surrender in ways to one person that you have never done before. Keep your eyes open and don't look but allow this love to find you... I promise it will and you will never ever look back again!
